Glen has over two decades of experience structuring, advising on and executing cross-border corporate and structured finance transactions, including leveraged loans, securitization, lease finance, real estate development and joint ventures, capital markets and private and public M&A.
Glen has served as a Partner in the Corporate practice of the world’s largest law firm, Dentons, and at the leading international legal advisor to ultra-high-net-worth families, London-based Withers. His previous experience includes serving as a member of the Islamic Finance practice at the law firm of Dechert LLP in New York, and as a member of the top-ranked private equity M&A advisory team at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
In addition to a wide range of conventional financial structuring and corporate experience, Glen is an award-winning expert in the field of Islamic finance. Among his roles and recognitions in this area include: serving as the leader of the team awarded US Islamic Finance Deal of the Year (Islamic Finance News); being named a “Leading Lawyer” in the areas of Islamic Project Finance and Shari’ah Investment Funds (Islamic Finance News) and working as a senior team member of the Global Islamic Finance Adviser of the Year (Euromoney Magazine).
Glen graduated from Brown University as well as from the law school of his home state’s university, the University of North Carolina, where he was awarded the role of editor-in-chief of its law review. Glen is qualified as an attorney in the State of New York and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
